What is this on my Powder Brown?

What is this and how can I kill it? My LFS did a fresh water dip on another fish but I'm scared to do it myself. I'd hate to loose this guy.

It is kinda hard to tell from the photo, but I noticed a something similar on my powder brown. I did nothing and it went away fairly quickly. I know this doesn't help much, but I figured if it was an issue I would watch to see if it spread, it didn't, and went away.
