What is this "small anemone"?

I inherited a few of these on some rock from a friend. He thinks it is some type of anemone. I may agree, but it also looks a little zoa-like at times. It does each mysis shrimp and pulls in all the way.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

Thanks for the help. I have not seen aptasia that large, but now that I look at it I can see it. The "zoa" near the front does look significantly like the larger one - it is just pulled in some in that picture.

I will take a few closer pics tomorrow.

Yeah aptasia can get pretty big. I saw one that was 2.5" tall with tentacles about 2" long! It had been in the tank for years. The tank was not the best kept for sure.

Yeah, definitely looks like an aiptasia to me.

Are both of them aiptasia? If so, I will introduce them to my peppermint shrimp :D or just pull them out. They are on a small rock frag in my sump.

Thanks!
