Fromia and linckia stars need a minimum of 4 hours acclimation. Unfortunately I am unaware of any medications for these infection. Pristine water and an ideal habitat, minimum of 100lbs well established LR, are the best bet for recovery but infections of the central disk generally result in death. Most LFS do not properly acclimate these stars, time constraints, when they receive them and death is inevitable. My delicate stars were ordered from bluezoo (tamaria stria) and LA DD (blue linckia) where I know they have properly cared for throughout the handling process. These two have both thrived for well over a year.
