What is this sticking to my glass and rocks?

I just turned my lights back on after keeping it off for three days. I had a bad case of dinoflagellate algae, it's gone now but I'm sure it'll come right back.

I have a lot of grey stuff sticking to my rocks and glass, what is this stuff? It comes off easy but never seem to leave the system.

There's also a lot of junk floating around, could it be all the stuff on the glass? Is my filter floss not enough? I change it every 3 -4days before water overflows the filter floss chamber.

Not sure but if I was to guess would say it's dead dino and or detritus.

my guess is for detritus that got stuck to some sort of film. the film is dying from the lights out and catching more detritus.

just a guess.

maybe thats a dead spot in your tank just collecting sediment. hows the flow?
