What is this thing? (video inside)

Hi all,
I took a small video clip (about 5 megs) of this thing on my rock. I'm not quite sure what it is. It moves (although it stays on that same spot on my rock), and is white and black.
If anyone knows what it is let me know. The video plays in quicktime btw.

Yea they are good for the tank. I've got a couple of them. One of them looks like a baby snake. Never have found the end of him.
