I have a ton of those. Sign of a healthy tank. Put a hawkfish in your tank and they will all disappear.

Oh, you mean the amphipod (mini shrimp or crustacean).

Is that bio-bale?

Wouldnt some mor eliverock make you feel safer re nitrates and such?

Yes it's bio-bale. Came with the setup i bought for equiptment. Its being changed to a 50 gal. oceanic all black glass sump soon. But i have no nitrates with the setup, it works great. I bought for freshwater (not reef ready) and i am switching tanks soon. thanks all for the i.d.

Amphipods are good right? i read that most are fine but what experiences have you all had with them?

Very good. After awhile every frag or rock you take out of the tank and set down should have some coming off of it.
