What is this thing?

Found some of these in my decorative coral - soft, cyllindrical, small bristles along the outside, and a hole at the end. Center of picture. Please click on my gallery and enlarge the picture for a good look. Thanks

looks like a pineapple sponge. they just filter feed and are harmless if that's what that is.
