What is this "Tiger Shrimp" on eBay ??

I tried searching for this but could not find any saltwater tiger shrimp. There is a freshwater shrimp that looks similar, but the supplier is sure this is a saltwater creature. The seller does not know the Genus or species.

Anyone know what it is? What it eats? How big it gets?

To me a tiger shrimp is Penaeus monodon, which is a big species that shows up in grocery stores. It's not something you would put in a reef tank.

My guess is that maybe it's a tiger pistol shrimp Alpheus bellulus. Google that name and see if it's the same thing.

Yep, from my knowledge there are Japanese Black Tiger Shrimp, I ate a few the other night .

That tiger shrimps is a freshwater species. Useful in a planted tank for consuming algae.

Yes, it looks like the freshwater tiger shrimp, but the seller insists it is a saltwater shrimp.
