its got a pretty vibrant blue tint to it with yellowish polyps(pic doesnt show true colors)... my question is what the heck is that tumor lookin thing on the side of it?

I had an acro with the same bubbly stuff on it. It never hurt the coral long-term, it eventually went away.

I never figured out what it was, it never spread nor did it pose any other threat.

Is it encrusting over a rock with a bump in it?
