I agree. It is also a mariculture coral at least the plug or base looks like it.
I don't think it's a prostrata because of the thickness of the branches. It will most likely be a mili.

Were did you get it, what was the price tag? That is a very unusual piece. It looks like it is on a maricultered base, and there are some new maricultured Aussies out there. So Spathulata would be a really good possibility.

I'm impressed tho, that is a odd color. Last time i have seen anything remotely close was the Tommy Knockers Acro. But it is not that.

It's possible but not likely. They almost never keep the color from the wild and although it's maricultured, it's grown in natural conditions. There is also the possibility that it's been in the LFS tank for some time and this is the captive color. Either way give it the closest to nature conditions you can and let it grow.

RTN (Rapid Tissue Narcosis) can spread, FAST. You would know by now.

yes, but not from one coral, to another like a virus. just on that colony or frag. As for the maricultured keeping it's colors.... depending on your kelvins, the colors should , or could become more vivid, but then again, taking all other factors ( water params, flow, lighting intensity ) into consideration, it would be tough to say. BEAUTIFUL piece though.... mmmm.
