What is this?

I saw this today, it is some sort of bubble thing attached to the rock. It is hidden under my bta. Does anyone know what it is?

I hope this is better. I tried looking at it again this morning but every time i tried to put my hand over there to fluff the bta out of the way my female clown would freak!

looks like the foot of the BTA to me.

well that would be weird because when the bta was all closed up this bubble thing was not attached to the bta, it was seperate. When I first saw it that is what I thought but it was attached to the bta at all. My bta is doing well and clowns are hosting as usual.

Is it possible for them to detach part of their foot?

it might have split

There also might be a possibility that the foot is in a hole in the rock and that part of the foot found another exit. BTA's love to hide in holes.
