Good or Bad?
My 55gal is mostly SPS, few fish. If this is any form of Aptaisa let me know so i can NUKE it!

yeah, kinda figured that, but i have searched and found nothing about it. Back to my original questions, Good or Bad?
Do i need to get rid of it before it spreads, or gets bigger. I already have 2 balls.
I see that it could eat small fish, and sting other corals. Its more of an agressive anemone. Thats the gist of what i have read. Some people see no problems, but i dont wanna risk it i think.
Some of the bigger species can eat fish, but most of the ones that are hitchhikers stay tiny. I have one in my tank that never moves and has been about .5" for years...
only problem i've ever had with them was at night every once in a while a zoa polyp would start groing a little to close to them. you could see the stress in the zoa but none ever kicked the bucket. pretty mild nem really
Awesome, I have two growing, that I know of, and been wondering what the heck they were. Mine can only really been seen under atinics only. Is it still the same? It looks just like the pick. It is a hitch hiker from something I suppose. Thanks
We have at least two of them and they're much easier to see under lower light when they're more extended. They seem to be relatively common hitchhikers on live rock. As they haven't bothered anything yet or multiplied extensively, I've left them alone. On the other hand, I'm about to wage war on the aiptasia....
Ok, UPDATE, ran into a problem with these "THINGS". One is on the brim of my clam shell, and as the mantle extends out, it is getting stung by this "THING". Im trying to scrape it off with a knife, but it retracts as soon as i get near it.
