What is this?

I have a few snails that Ive noticed that have these baby snails on them. Are they babies or are they a different type of snail? Do I need to worry about them?

Might just be smaller snails.

Those are parasitic Turbonilla species (pyramidellids). You'll want to take your Astraeas out of the tank and remove the little white guys.

Already started to remove them as i see them. Also im not to worried if they end up killing my snails as I only have 6 snails. But do have about 250 hermit crabs. The snails I feel are probably dieing slow death in my tank as there is never any algae build up on glass any more.
