Got cured rock a few weeks ago. After i cycled my tank i turned on the lights just for fun and noticed this tiny coral-like thing. Any ideas?

If it's a new tank, just remove the rock right quick and burn it off with a "lighter" or something... (don't think about it, just do it) Quick & easy... If it's a problem, you might as well just roll the dice with a shrimp. (50/50) GL.

Yes & no... Don't think too much... EVERYTHING that is submerged has bacteria on it, whether it's the pipes, the untouched glass etc... We all have a balance so to say... (blue thumb?) ;) GL

Use aptasia x or kalkwasser paste. I had 12+ peppermints and they didn't touch any of it. It's a major hit and miss

I tried boiling water but couldn't get it to do the trick. If its only one rock just do the lighter singe trick. Be careful not to spread it by breaking it etc. Each tiny piece will become a new aiptasia. AiptasiaX or kalk paste will work as well, you will need a syringe for the kalk and inject directly into the mouth.
