What is this?

Hello Everyone,
I have had an algae blenny in my 40g tank now for about 2 weeks. He has been perfectly fine and eating like a pig from what I have seen (usually him picking at the rocks). Also I would occasionally put some nori near his rock and by the next night it would be gone. However, as of last night I have not been able to find him and I found this at the bottom of the tank (see image). My question is what is it? Could it be what is rest of the dead blenny if for some reason he did die, or is this some kind of worm? I have all peaceful fish and my tank and they were never bothered by the blenny so he wasn't killed. But I haven't seen him in a day and now this. Any clue what it is?
Thanks

Yeah unfortunately it looks like the missing blenny. Sorry for your loss. Lawnmower blenny's are a great addition to almost any tank. I'm sure it will be missed.
