I just found this little 'spider' on one of my newly acquired montipora frags (got it last week). There appears to be no harm done to the frag (no spots, receding, lack of polyp extension, etc.) I've googled 'spider on montipora' and saw a few others but no definitive answer on exactly what it is. Ideas?

Yeah, definitely a pycnogonid. Fortunately it was the only one I have seen and I was able to remove it with a medicine dropper. When I was watching it in the dropper and in that dish, it would swim, and looked like a jellyfish while doing so. Very cool, yet strange hitchhiker.
