I'm new to reef tanks and to this forum. Been reading a lot lately.
So, I set my new tank last Friday night and last night, while dark, I used a flashlight to inspect the tank and the live rock (some Indonesia premium that I bought from a good store) and I noticed a creature I can't identify. It was on the highest spot, on the rock, it was very small with very long threads like hair, transparent. It disappeared this morning. I couldn't take a pic as it wouldn't catch it. The filaments were like hair, just transparent and waving with the current.
