what is this

It only comes out at night and it stays by my star polips. I havent seen it eat any of them yet any info will be great. Thanks

It's definitely a chiton in the genus Cryproplax. The name means hidden shells, so it's kind of hard to see the segments to count them.
 
I stand corrected. It does look like a chiton. Than's what happens when I respond before I've had my coffee!
 
If you decide to frag the green pearl coral let me know. "The little bubbles look cool." - as stated by half of the people that look at my tank. It's somewhat depressing that they notice the things I'm trying to get rid of and not the ones I have difficulty keeping. I agree, that is a chiton, in my previous tank I had several and never had any problem with them.
