Sorry about the picture, but it looks just like this but much clearer. I know it is a star fish but is it a good one or a bad one?

Just cut them up into little pieces. LOL

A Harlequin Shrimp would take care of them I think.

I have noticed that anytime I need something to get rid of something, it also get rid of things I don't want to get rid of, What do I get rid of this time that I don't want to?

Harlequin shrimp only eat starfish. They will eat the asterina's but once they are gone you will need to feed them other starfish. The nice thing is...chocolate chip starfish are cheap.

However that means my 6" and 5" star will also be gone, like I said there is always something bad with anything good.

Yep, I dont think a "Dont eat me" badge on the keepers would work. If you have enough asternia that they are an eye sore you might consider a temp tank for the starfish you want to keep. once the asternia are gone catch the shrimp and sell/give it away.

some of those star fish eat some types of sps coral from reports
take some twisers and remove them if you like when you see them that is.
