What is up with BIRDSNEST difficulty!

If you can keep acros birdsnest should be extremely easy. Maybe you are placing them to high in the tank? Try placing them at the bottom of the tank.

I can't keep them either even though everything else does well. Someone suggested not exposing them to air next time I try one, don't know why that would make a difference but they said it did for them. I'm in the process of upgrading to a 156 Oceanic brick at the moment though so I have not tried another one.

Have the same issue. Interestingly enough, with my old tank, they grew like weeds. Now, I cannot keep them alive. The biggest difference between the old tank and the new tank is the fact that I use Prodibio (Biodigest, Bioptim and reefbooster) to keep my phosphate and nitrate undetectable. My old tank used to have nitrates around 15-20. Never even really tested my PO4 but did about 30% water changes weekly.

I could not keep them either but now I have one that has taken off and I attribute it to better water quality, I changed all the filter in my RO/DI and I add chloramine remover to all my top-off water
