What is wrong with clown?

My 4 yr old female Oc. clown has some type of cut/lesion on her body, what is it?

All tank parameters are within normal range, SG 1.025, reef has been up for about 16 months, but was from a 3 year old existing system.

Could be a hitchhiker crab, such as emerald. Look for it at night with a flashlight.

That should heal itself as long as you keep an eye on it and it gets smaller not bigger....Good Luck!!!

I thought I saw a bristle, from a bristle worm, in the "cut" at first...I have noticed it for 4-5 days now, and it does not appear to be getting smaller. It may even be getting bigger.

I do not have any hitchhiker crabs (20" cube, and I have not added anything for almost a year). I look at the tank every night for at least 30 mins with a flashlight every night. I am suspecting a bristleworm, as I have been feeding the tank less, and worms would get aggressive b/c of this.

I will keep an eye on it, thanks!
