What is wrong with my clown and anenome

I have had my maroon for about 5 months and he has developed a weird breakout since I added my bubble tip nem 2 days ago. He took to the nem about 1 day after it was in. Here are some pics.

My anenome has been doing ok, but has hidden behind this rock since the 2nd day after traveling the first night. it was opened up really well and the tips were never deflated. It looked okay until about 1hr 1/2 ago and it now looks like this. It has deflated and shriveled so much.

Is the nem dying and should I flip the rock over to the light?

I haven't seen marks like that before, but possibly due to rubbing up against the BTA? I've seen dots and such from initial hosting in corals and BTA's, but that's odd.

How big was the BTA when it was inflated? Maroons are nutorious for extreme aggressiveness with new BTA's. It's recommended to get a BTA at least three times the size of your clown. Picture five shows the clown extremely dwarfing the BTA in size (again obviously deflated so hard to tell the full size). If it's small, it will have a VERY hard time acclimating with your maroon beating on it. As soon as the anemone stays put, I would suggest attempting to protect it in some fashion from the maroon.

I wouldn't recommend flipping the rock. The anemone is going to move where it wants and is comfortable. The best thing you can do is to keep the maroon away as it settles.

Thanks for the response. When inflated it is about 2-3x the size of the maroon. The maroon has been aggressive, never wanting to leave it. How would I keep it away until the nem settles?
