I've found that the chiller and the protein skimmer are probably the best investment out of my list since one stablized the tank temp and the other keep my water quality at a high level.

Followed by tunze for flows and lightings and ozone ... the rest are more for convieniences

Another cheap but great investment was the "refractometer"

If you slow drip it into your tank the carbs make your corals grow like weeds.
