What is YOUR favorite clown?

THS

I want to know what your favorite species of clownfish is, based on looks as well as personality.

I am planning on getting a pair and would like to know which species would fascinate me the most.

I love the personality of the ocellaris, and the looks of the pink skunk.

Your turn!

I like true percs. Not too mean, get along great with my other tank residents, and the onyx are gorgeous.
Here's one of mine

i think the pink scunks are cool too. i had 2 ocellaris in my 29bc that were egg layers and loved them. they would eat out of my hand! im lookin to get a pair of picassos now!

I think Maroon Lightenings are gorgeous

Lightning, singular. For now. Hopefully it will beat off all the infections and the pair will spawn again. And maybe they won't eat their eggs and the world will have a few F1 PNG Lightning Maroons available for purchase. I'm thinking $2000 each.

On the subject of this thread, I also want help finding a cool clownfish pair to replace my gold stripe maroon. Something my girlfriend will squeal over.

I'm thinking a SA Black Ice Snowflake (A. Ocellaris)

or a ORA Premium Picasso (A. Percula)

I would like to find a "unique" pair, so if they end up breeding, I can sell the fry for a bit more than a perc.

Breeding isn't my sole intention, but it would be awesome if it happened.

Just like my avatar picture. Gold Stripe Maroon Clown!! I had a large female a few years back and she would come sit in my hand!! Not typical of that species though! lol

Mine is in my avatar as well. Not because she's my fav fish, but because she's a rescue and my wife won't let me get rid of her. LOL

If we're talking temperament, I like percs and skunks. But if we're talking pure beauty, nothing beats a tomato with a black center.

Being she's a maroon she was most likely peeing in your hand :lol2:

I haven't seen any babies yet, but I think Wyoming WhitexBlack and White clowns would be cool. My clown's breeder has her first batch of eggs, I may get one or two of the babies or get a Wyoming white to pair up with one of my black and whites to get some nice babies.

My favorite wild clowns are the skunks and black saddlebacks. They're cheap, lower on the aggression scale, and just look different than you typical clown.

When it comes to domestic varieties, my favorite are SA Premium Picassos, like the pics below. Problem is, the really nice ones always seem to have bulldog faces. :(

Is anybody into the "naked" variety? I love those little guys.

ORA has some great clowns.
The guys that work there must love their jobs.

my favorite clown is the mocha java OC. They're the result of a black and orange OC pair. I love their color
