What is your flow

I have a mixed reef. It's a 110g tank. I bought a elegance coral last weekend and it's doing great but I don't now if I have too much flow in the tank for it. Besides my main pump, I only have one maxijet mod with the smell impeller. I've been into sps for a couple of years and now I'm starting to lean more toward lps. I have a octopus coral now for seven years now and it's my oldest coral. I was just wondering what kind of flow yours keepers keep in you tanks, and what do you use for it. Here is a picture of my tank, but it does not have the new elegance in the shot.

It seems like you don't have a lot of flow for that size tank...only 1 powerhead and your return pump?
How big is the main pump?
I know there is a big size difference but in my 29 alone I have a koralia 2 and then my mag 5 return pump which offers pretty good flow in all areas.

Well, not sure what your return is, but gph is not an end all be all kind of way to measure flow in your tank. First, your tank looks great and if it is thriving as it looks to be, then I would not mess with it. If you did not have enough flow your sps and lps would have have the color and growth that is has. Also, there a lot of factors that go with flow. The resistance that the water meet by corals, angle of the returns, the velocity, etc. Random flow is better than static flow. Glad to see a fellow Missourian on here with a sweet tank.
