I thought it would be interesting to see what the local levels of phosphates are throughout Iowa, as we are now labeled as having the highest phosphate levels in the country
If we all measure our tap water, we can see what regions are the worst and the best. It might be helpful to state if you get city water or have a well.
I live in NE Iowa right now, farm country, but also very hilly, so not as much tillable land. I live in town, so I get city water and my phosphates are at .3 ppm, not as bad as I was expecting. Maybe well water would be worse.
