what kills colt corals

wow my tank has been grate over 5 months now. have grate water and 1 of my colt corals did die? and 1 more is now in a quentien tank and not looking well at all? when i get any corals they are in to qentien for 3 weeks .then into maine tank is this long enought ? when colts whure in quentien i did find some typ of slug?and pluk them off .what can kill colt corals?

I had the same problem about a year ago had 5 good sized colts one started drooping and then melting. after keeping an eye out caught a nudibranch of some kind that was white with orange things on its back about 1 1/2" long. I then took it to the lfs in the area and tried to find anything on the slug nobody could tell me anything so I got rid of it. colts were all fine for 3 or 4 months the noticed another slouching colt, low and behold found 6 smaller slugs got rid of them and colts still are great. I hope someone here can tell you what it may be.

Count me in the like to know what they are category too. Same thing happened to me.

I got a colt from a friend. It was doing great in her tank but melted away in mine. Everything else in my tank was flourishing. Never did figure out what happened.
