What kind and how much should I get in my refugium?

I am looking to build a 120g tank with fish as the main focus, what kind of plants and/or micro algae should I add to my 20g refugium to sustain this tank? Andwhat care techniques should I be aware of?

I put cheato in my fuge. I leave the lights on it 24/7 and it grows like a weed and needs to be harvested regularly.

depends on what you want in there. basically any algae is ok in there as long as its doing the job. i wouldn't put... bryopsis in there though that crap is a pain in the butt.

chaeto here too. I'm currently running it on a reverse cycle with my tank. caulerpa go sexual after a while.
