So I am new and had some friends rope me into doing a saltwater tank. Got in on the cheap since they provided some of the supplies for me. I have a 12 gallon nano cube that's been setup for 5 weeks now and I have this funky green algae that non of my friends have seen before. Trying to figure out how I can get rid of it before I go to my lfs and have them try to sell me everything on the shelf. I do have a small clean up crew right now of 5 snails. If I got a goby or shrimp would they clean all this up?
