What kind of anemone is this?

I bought this anemone here in Bangkok yesterday. Like usual, the shop keeper couldn't speak much English, so I don't know exactly what type of anemone this is. It looks like some variety of carpet anemone to me. Any ideas?

A bleached Gigantea

+1 on bleached gigantea...if you have proper lighting, it will probably get a darker green or tan..

Looks big enough to pull through. You do need to start feeding soon!

Thanks guys. I'm not so sure it is bleached though. It is local, from Thailand waters and very little transport and I don't think they go through the hassle of bleaching here... (it only cost $9 as well).

Will keep you posted on how it does!

"they" wouldn't have to do anything to "bleach" it. Bleaching is when the anemone expels its internal algae. It can happen fairly quickly, so it doesn't matter too much that it is local. During its holding time it could have been subject to poor conditions which would cause it to bleach.

Thanks Toddrtrex, I didn't realize that! I'll post here how it does over time. Right now it is looking fine.
