I was at a frag swap this past weekend and all the people there had these amazing looking corals, they were all glowing and looked really nice, specifically a frogspawn I bought that looked blue and yellow under their light.
Under my light it is brownish green and red. My light fixture is an older corallife T5 HO, 30inches long with 4 bulbs in it. 2 blue bulbs and 2 white bulbs(dont know the exact names or brands of each but they are older, sat around in the garage for several years).
My question is what kind of light do I need to get this glowing look? I dont know how else to describe it but the colors look amazing. Can I only do this with LEDs? Can I buy T5 bulbs to achieve this? My corals that I bought this past weekend all look healthy and great, but they dont look as cool as they did under the lights at the frag swap.
