What kind of pump

I am planning to get a 200 gallon soon and use a 55 as a sump what kind of a pump would I need with the overflow to return the water.

Id go with a high power mag. maybe a Mag 12 - 18 (1200 - 1800 GPH)

well...........depends on where you will be keeping the pump. ie under the tank or in the basement. Also what size are your overflow pipes, how many GPH can they handle? Do you want all your flow zipping through the sump (poss Micro bubbles) or just enough to run your skimmer and fuge etc? If you go low flow through the sump then you will need to decide how you will provide flow in the tank, closed loop? pumps in the tank? when you decide on these things then you can easily (kinda) decide on the pump that best fits your needs. IMO
