What kind of reactor media

What brand reactor media are you using in the reactor? Just used the last of the Caribsea that came with the reactor.

Crushed coral.....ohh wait, my reactor isnt up and running yet so that is what kind i am storing for my future use.....wait, i dont even have a tank set up and running yet......mmnnn

Thanks Jeff, Doesn't your refugium Qualify as a tank! I've out grown my 60 gallon and just bought a 120,Fortunately i bought an oversized stand 48x24 so its simply swapping out the tank.Owe and my cheapo odyssey halide light setup sucks so I bought a Sun supply 250 watt halide with T5's from Steve Ruddy. I read a post on RC that really makes sense" Buy Cheap and You Buy Twice" I'm definately living proof.

Bye the way how's your tank temp in garage? Is the chiller doing its job.Its like 93 in SR you guys must be in the high 90's in Windsor.

Ya i guess it kinda does, it hasnt goten over 80.5 yet, the chiller kicks in at 82. I deff agree about the buy twice annaligy(sp?) I have been very lucky to have the mentors that i have so that i wouldnt have to learn by myself.

I actually picked up a 75 gal that will hopefully be up and running this weekend.

The crushed coral you can pick up anywhere for about a buck a pound
