What kind of shrimp is this??

It's a commensal shrimp that lives in Tridacna clams. You might get more info about them in the clam forum. I used to have a red polka dotted one in a gold teardrop a while ago.
 
Are you sure Viper?? This is the first time I see it with the clam. I have him for a while but never able to find it. I have him before way before I got the clam.

Edit:
I did a search on commensal shrimp and found a bunch :D .. Wondering how big he will get. The two claws kinda scare me :bum:

Pretty sure. There are a lot of similar commensal shrimp as well that stick with anemones and corals too, but all of the spotted ones I've seen have always been with clams.
Nice one though! They're rarely seen.
 
i remember when barry from clams direct talked to the club he said if you ever find a shrimp living in your clam consider yourself lucky. because they are benificial. awsome find phong
 
it came from your clam, as stated above!~) i was lucky enough to acquire one as well with a clam a while ago!~) it was awesome seeing something so large in the tank that i didn't see when i introduced the clam!~)
