what kind of substrate

I've had problems with sand blowing around all over in my tank for quite some time now and I was wondering what kind of substrate do you guys use? I have the sugar grained sand right now and need to replace it.

no substrate... and it never blows anywhere

I have used bits of LR rubble and larger grain sand then 00 try a bit of 0 grade or 1 grade sand or crushed coral shell. Put it in just your high flow areas. Don't get rid of your sand though.
