some of the pricing I've seen over the last few weeks "window shopping" online would indicate not everyone feels this way lol.

Just like zoas, and other stuff, good marketing can bring higher prices.

Aussie ones are more expensive, as some of the very intense green ones from other locals.

Not true, the intensity of color determines the price. I thought Aussie gold torch was very fun to watch.

There is a fine line between gold, orange & what some would just call tan or brown.

I like the hammer corals & I wouldn't buy any of those so called oranges, or yellow/golds without seeing them with my own eyes in person.

i totally agree with you. There is so many online vendors out there edit the pictures or manipulate the lighting to make the color more intense on their corals.

Too true, but when you see a nice one in person it's like WOW! I recently bought two heads of the orange torch from fraggle reef when I stopped by to pick up some salt, it glows right out of my tank with the most ridiculous orange color and looks phenomenal.

I've also seen vendors who have "orange" torches and it's that kind of orange where if you put it under pure actinics and squint while half drunk it's kind of thinking about being orange.

I would love to see some pictures of these blue or orange torch corals if you have them. Not frags or small pieces though, large specimens. Corals that have been in a tank for awhile and have really put on some serious growth. Do these colors stay true given time?
