what lamp to choose

Hallo i am new to marine hobby and i have 8 gallon tmc microhabitat 30 tank cycling from two months.a week ago i have added one blue tuxedo urchin and ont trochus snail.I am now between green and brown phase.I have one vortech mp10 wes for waves.My question is: I want to upgrade original light system from tmc with one of this two posibbilities AI Hd prime and ecotech radion xr 15= Which onbe is better for me?

AI HD is a little cheaper than radion, but I think both are a lot of light for your 8g tank

so both are good for my tank.I prefer the ecotech becouse i have vortech mp10 wes and i planing to buy reef link and radion for best comunication

Are you planning on adding corals?
Also how do you plan to supplement the urchins diet? They typically require a much larger tank to have enough for on their own

Yes i am planing soft corals to be added in the tank

Also the minimum tank requirement for this guy is 10 gallons and he is well cleaning the rocks frow alfgae

Those lights are big overkill for your small tank softie tank..
Seems goofy IMO to buy lights and run them at 5-10%

Be careful when you upgrade your lights I put a cheap black box over my 10 gallon and it was way to much even on lowest settings bleached a couple hammers and a candy cane switched over to 2 par30 bulbs and corals are much happier still haven't got all there color back but are starting to get some back been almost a month
