What Light for Cheato??????????

I have my 90 all set now, i put some cheato in my fuge now , what type of lights do i need for it to survive???? The LFS told me to buy a freshwater PC light but they wanted $50 for it ... I know you all know whats what >>>>>>>> Thanks again ...

go to the hardware store pick yourself up a regular energy saving bulb and any old clip on or hanging fixter or make you own and wala you made magic lol.

I would agree with matt880305. that is exactly what i have (a CFL) on my 55 gal combo sump/fuge/cryptic zone. cheato seems to be doing just fine and doing the trick. nothing specialized about chato, just needs a basic light.

A total of $5.00 buck is all it cost me

Make sure to look for a kelvin rating of around 6500k like the daylight bulbs (5000k works well too) have. Here is a good reflector idea if you're short on space.
