What lighting technology do tanning booths use?

I searched a bit and didn't find much. I'm kinda curious about what types of bulbs/ballasts they use at a tanner. Maybe a good link to a site to explain it?

I'm kinda curious if you could tan under T5s if you buy the right wavelength?

***Better yet, I could let the girls on campus here tan for free in my house... yes... excellent.

OSRAM-Sylvania makes a bunch... they have a whole UV lighting division. They even have some induction UV-A lamps that last forever (no elctrodes in lamp, pure induction starting). Something like 150watts and about 60 lumens per watt... thats alot of UV-A... alot! And these bulbs last longer than anything else out there.

Otherwise, here is OSRAM's division...
