What Maintenance Are You Laziest About?

No smell? It would be nice to not have to mess with it every week.

The Davy Jones locker has a carbon air like filter on top of it where the air vents out to reduce the smell. And on top of the skimmer's lid I taped the holes so air doesn't get out and shoved the skimmers airline intake into one of them to draw back in the stinky air. No smell that I can tell or more importantly my wife.

Definitely testing as regularly as I should. I would love to weekly but something always seems to skip a week . My glass is always clean I can't stand to look at it with drip marks n such

I don't use a skimmer because I just could not stand dealing with skimmate. It is a vile substance, and I can keep my params in check without a skimmer. I don't mind anything else. I change my filter floss every other day, takes 5 seconds. Weekly water changes. Clean my pumps every 2 months.

Testing and cleaning power heads.. If I'm cleaning the tank once I reach the power heads I'm just like ehhh not today

Testing. I loath testing the tank. After the cycle was done I stopped testing unless something weird happens. Corals and fish are happy, parameters must be in order. Too much algae = too much food = too much PO4 etc etc.

Those pics are yummy, lol...yikes!

How do you clean those? I wipe them down but there's coralline algae growing all over them.
Inside overflows builds up over time. Yucky muck. Turn off circ pump, pull overflow pipe. Wet/dry vac sucks up mud worms yum.

Testing and water changes. But since I've switched over to Hanna and Milwaukee testing gear, it's pretty simple. Auto water changes will be next...
