What makes the best Water transport

Thinking about buying Ro/di water from lFS was curious where you get water bottles. Which ones are the best

Empty Absopure bottles in either 3 or 5g off craigslist. I think you can buy empties from Lowes. Some even have handles and tops

Just get the 5 gal bottles at walmart at their water station.

Sorry to hijack but is there such a thing as a reusable cap for the 5 gallon water cooler jugs? I use my rodi to fill my water cooler jugs as well and don't feel like buying throw away caps all the time.

I bought new plastic 5 gallon gas cans for hauling water and they work well.

Mine came with either a screw cap or pop on/off lid. All ha e been resused for 5 years. Now just for dri king water though.

Our local LFS sell 5 gallon containers for about $10 with a 'free' first fill up. Come with a tight fitting large mouth lid and a capped vent hole. They work great!

I use 5 gallon buckets and lids from HD or Lowe's. Clean first with a vinegar r/o solution. Some of mine are over 5 years old.

My saltwater store sold them for $10 ea. plastic ones.

Buy your salt in buckets. Doesn't help you right away though. Instant Ocean is available in 5g buckets
