I'm not really sure what forum to put this in, so I'll start here and see how it goes!
I came home last night and while feeding the fish found this small clump of what I guessed to be some type of eggs? I tried to get a picture but it just came out as a mass of blur.
They're bright bright red, about 1/4" long and tubular in shape. They were NOT there that morning! They were firm to the tuch and didn't retract like an anemone (my first thought was a small tulip anemone).
There's probably 30 of these tiny little tubes (like small, red grains of rice) in this compact clump.
I have no idea, if they're eggs, what they would have come from. I have 3green clown gobies, a leopard and blue sided flasher wrasse, a pair of PJ cardinals and scopas tang. I have the normal hermit/snail clean up crew as well.
Thanks in advance for any help!
