what protein skimmer

aiight guys I need help with this one can't decide on which skimmer to buy I really like the Super Reef Octopus 1000 but I dunno if this is going to be my best bet. im going to be running a 46 gallon bow with a 20 gallon sump give me opinions!!!

I have a 58g tank with a 20g sump and use an SWC200 skimmer, I couldn't be happier with it. The SRO1000 is a good skimmer though, I doubt you'll be disappointed with it.

what kind of lights r u running? mh? and do u like clams? maxima, crocera? healthy clams can take the place of protein skimming if the tank is balanced right.

im going to be running the solar xtreme 36 in t-5's 2 10k and actnics i just wana make sure the water is clean as possible if its more money than so be it i just want things right
