The mini does not have a Sedra pump in it...............at least mine doesn't........

It is a needlewheel pump, but it's not a Sedra.....

Not a clue...............there's no label or anything on the pump...........

Come to think of it, I'm gonna email ASM & ask them what pump is used on the Mini.................................

Mine works great BTW..................took about 3 days to "slime up" & break in & it's pulling plenty now!!

Upon reading at asmskimmer.com , I now find out the mini has the GenX1000.........................no wonder it's $99, a sedra pump is $60-$75 itself........... :lol:

Nope..............the GenX looks a lot like the Sedra, but in order to keep the cost down on these things, they went the cheaper route.

Nevertheless, mine works great!!

whoops sorry i left out my response. im really interested to see other peoples reviews. i need some sort of skimmer in my nano because this fission junk really just isnt working out for me.
