I agree with the guy with la jeva rica
Feed it from your return pump. If that's too powerful, get a tee and split your return... half straight out and half through the UV. You can even put a valve inline to slow the water down through the UV. The longer the water is exposed to the light, the better.
Unless u have a pretty big pump, I wouldnt...it'll reduce ur flow. Just get a Maxijet 600 or 900. Not sure what they are rated for but one of those will work. I have a 900 on my UV and Phosban reactor and it works great.
