What router bit to use cutting acrylic?

I want to make some small acrylic projects. I have cut the large pieces on the table saw. What router bit to use on a router table?
I want to actually cut to size not just trim.

A straight bit or a laminate trimer (bearing)?

Thanks

A smaller bit for cutting is better. Spiral upcut is the way to go.

Agreed, the 1/2" wastes some material, but its stable too. I will try to cut with a smaller one next time.
