What salt brand do you use?

Tropic Marine, Just picked up a huge bag 82lbs makes 300g of water for 75.00 and the ALK, Ca and Mg are very consistent and are very close to NSW levels.

I guess I must be the oddball. I try my best to avoid using one brand of salt. I guess I can get away with it since I have a small tank and I do water changes twice a week. I don't dose my tank with anything but calc and alk so I try and get my trace elements from my salts. My fav is Oceanic but right now i'm staring a buckets of Kent, IO, and Red sea. Anyone else do this?

I've used Instant Ocean, Oceanic, Crystal seas bioassay, and now Reef Crystals.

IO - Very inconsistent over the last five years. Low in Alk, Calcium, Magnesium, and mix PH varies between buckets. In general, IO varies too much for my taste.

Oceanic - I saw a Diatom problem when I started its use (do a search on ReefCentral as others have had the same problem). After I stopped using it, the diatom problem went away...

Crystal seas - I really liked this, but it was expensive

Reef Crystals - Mixes faster and more completely than IO and has better Alk. Still low in Calcium and Magnesium, but so far the aquarium inhabitants seem to like it.

I was using Coralife but the last bucket I bought had chronically low alk. I'm looking to switch to something more reliable.

Just switched (6 months ago) from Tropic Marin back to IO.

Tropic marin had poor mag levels, etc. I had to supplement it just like IO. I liked it, but couldnt justify any reason to spend $70 vs $32.99

I now use Catalina NSW and love the results from just two water changes. I can also vouch with using Oceanic salt and getting diatoms.
