What salt mix should I use ?

Using IO now and looking to see what others have used and what works best. I have a 20 gallon nano mixed reef with zoas, lps, and sps. I've heard that Aqua Forrest is pretty good stuff. Any recommendations ?

I use the Red Sea and it's amazing. I notice the difference.

Do you get these parameters as they state?
Main parameters at a salinity of 33.0 ppt are: KH - 11.8-12.2 °dKH, Ca - 430 - 450 mg/l, Mg 1280 - 1340 mg/l.

The different salt mixes that I have tried never seem to have the parameters like they claim.

I went from NSW to IO noticed that the tanks are not doing well , Had three buckets of IO got them for 29 bucks , battling LHG algae probably due to the impurities in the salt ,going to try RSS next if that does not work will go back to NSW

Red Sea Coral Pro. Can get it for around $68 for 175 gallons worth at bulk Reef supply during the 10% Preferred Reefer Group Buy every month, taking into account the 10% reward points. Today they are offering 10% off making it $65 and 5% rewards so net $62. Also $10 off $100 code today TEN4YOU.

I bet it has more to do with the rodi water than impurities in the salt

IO and RC here. Your algae issues aren't related to the salt mix. Like Rovs stated. RO or something else is doing it. I went from NSW to mixing my own and my corals have been way happier since the change.

I have been using IO mix and RODI water from Beverley's pet center.

Red Sea Coral Pro, works fine for me. I actually buy the 200gallon bag and place it in a 5 gallon bucket with a screw top lid. Costs the same and the bucket is re-useable so I get more for my money.

IO always. Tried and true. My guess is anyone having algae issues are not due to the salt

The only think I do is reduce the alkalinity to 8 with HCl
