What to do? This rock is not removeable!

Cyphastrea. It could potentially overgrow the encrusting montis or they could win the fight and be ok. I would just let it run its course and see that happens.

How long did it take you to grow that much cyphastrea? Looks good

I don't want to lose the montis.... they are hard to find and I am more into sps than I am these guys.

Probably 18mos on the cyphastrea?

I chopped the rocks to remove this and a turbinara in a similar conflict situation. Held my breath but all turned out well. Then chipped small pieces of each and mounted on removable rocks!
