What should I do???

Hey guys I am at the point where I'm debating whether or not to tear down the tank for a few months.

Here is my issue. I have a 90 sps tank that is slowly declining. Not big algae issue or anything like that. I am in between jobs ATM and funds are limited. I am currently traveling a lot for job interviews and will be moving hopefully with in the next few months.

So this is my idea. I have an extremely good relationship with my LFS so I am thinking about tanking all my livestock to his display tank so he can revive all my sps until I can set the tank back up in about six months..I'm going to keep all my equipment for now.

What do y'all think? Any other suggestions? I just HATE neglecting my tank and hate seeing the corals declining....

if they will keep it for you and if they continue to decline no biggie, then do it. If not, give them to fellow reefers as a bank and hopefully they will get better then you can pif out some frags to them once your new one is set up.

I agree with finding local reefers to hold it. I gave some stuff to a friend of mine. I wound up losing the whole colony and a few months later he was about to give me a piece of what I gave him.

Problem is, there really no local reefers around Hilton head...his store is in Columbia and is a very active reefer and has been a hobbyist for about 30 yrs. that's the on,y reason why I feel comfortable letting him revive it

Seems like it would be alot of effort to take out all your coral and put them back in again later.
I see your location seems like it is near the ocean, can't you just grab a whole bunch of NSW and do 2 50% water changes?
